I know some people who had some dogs. They also had a bench swing out in the yard. It was like a porch swing, only attached to trees and not on the porch. The dogs had discovered that it made a good back scratcher, especially with people in it.

They probably don't still have the same dogs, and I don't know about the swing. If it's still there, though, and they have dogs that are big enough, they've probably learned the same trick.
