Poor old Coop

My grandchildren have a dog name Cooper. I like to call him Coop for short, because he is a very short dog. Actually he is a normal length, but not very tall. He is a Corgi and has no legs. His feet are attached directly to his body. Maybe that's not exactly right, but that's how he looks.
Anyway, Coop has a problem when he needs to scratch. His feet won't always reach where he itches. So he as developed some really bazaar moves to scratch himself. Most dogs will lie on their back and wiggle to scratch their back, but poor Coop, has to lie in all kinds of strange positions and do all kind of comical wiggles.
Sometimes he will sit in the floor and walk his front feet around in a circle to scratch a particular part that he can't scratch otherwise.
He also has found that shoes with laces make a good scratcher for use on various parts of his body. The good part about this is that somebody gets a free shoe shine.
When he doesn't need to scratch, he likes to retrieve a ball, or have his hair combed. He also likes food. If you want him to follow you around, you just hold your hand as if you have food in it, and old Coop will stick to you like glue. Howard
