1930 picture

I just found this picture at www.hazardkentucky.com .
The site interests me because I lived in Hazard in the 1940's.

The car in the picture is a taxi, but I haven't determined the make. In 1930, it would have been a fairly new car. Notice the license plate, and to the right, a Taxi License. You can also see an XI on the back window.

The gentleman standing there is the taxi driver. His name is Verdie Akers, and the picture was taken in Scuddy Hollow, (pronounced "Scuddy Holler") Perry County, Ky.

Does anybody have a clue as to the make of the car?
