Howard, the link you posted pointed to a *picture*. http://hazardkentucky.com/2000/buffalo.jpg
If you consider that address to be the same as a Directory on your computer...
c:\2000\buffalo.jpg
... then you can look in the "2000" virtual Directory by deleting the "buffalo.jpg" part of the address in your browser's address bar.
Usually there's a file named "index.htm" or "default.htm" and if so your browser should load that page by default. If not, you'll see an index to the virtual directory.
I prefer to find an actual Index page. Somehow, looking directly at the list of files makes me feel a little underhanded and sneaky, as though I've walked univited into the back yard of a shop.
I'm glad to have brightened your day.

It's a 1946 license from Perry County (Hazard) and the dealer who sold the car was the father of one of my old cronies. It will take a while, but I'm going to look at every last one of those. I might have to send a link to my sister who is considering a sentimental journey to Hazard sometime soon. > Thanks, > Howard >
