If I had to pick one power, it would definitely be mind-reading. I don't think that it would be any fun, though it would be useful.
I love Astro City. You mentioning it makes me want to pick up some of the collected editions. Taking a really serious look at super-powers is fascinating, and Astro City was really creative and insightful in that regard.
