> I think there must be a story in here somewhere. My big sister has decided to get married. Wait. there's more. She had been a widow for a decade or more, has survived a lot of health problems and looks a lot younger than 72. She found a boyfriend (he's 65) on the internet and in August, they plan to tie the knot.

It seems that the family is widely scattered, so we have relatives coming from various places in California, Florida, several cities in Tennessee, Massachusetts, West Virginia, Texas, all over Georgia and maybe a few other places. She also has an internet friend who lives in Alabama, and she will be there.

So we have reserved a block or rooms at a local motel and more and more people are signing on. Estimates are running as high as 65 people from at least four generations. They won't all fit in Maxine's house, but she has a nice backyard. The wedding will be SRO in the living room. I understand there is a meeting room at the motel, so this is two separate but slightly related events. I expect it all to be rather informal and unorganized, but we are mostly family so it should work.

Howard, sounds like fun!
When I got married in '95, I wanted my Grandmother, age 93, to attend. This required a flight from Miami to San Fransisco. I found that, due to her age, her physician could fly with her for free. This was fortuitous since my uncle was a physician and was flying from the same location.
Now that my uncle is retired and no longer a physician, he wants a discount for everything!
