> I was born in Lexington, Kenutcky, the heart of blue grass country. Some people think that grass is green, but Kentuckians know it's blue. When I was too young to know any better, I asked my mother why people said it was blue, when it looked green. She explained that in the late afternoon, just before sunset, when the light was just right, it looks blue. Maybe bluish green, but much bluer than any other grass, she said. After that it aways look a little blue to me. My mother knew a lot about things like that. > Howard
Colour is an amazing thing. Yes, the sky is 'blue'. Yes, grass is 'green'. But what if my blue is your red? If you saw the world the way I see it, maybe it would be different? Colours make things so interesting. I love the colour of the big chunky green drinking glasses I have inherited from my friend who had to move back to the States. I love the way people's eyes look different in different lights.
