FantasyQuest-1 burning up

I have been down the volcano to the fortress several times. I got the oil and lowered the drawbridge from the inside. Now I have purchased a pass code number and I think I need it in the fortress past the snooky place, but I can't get back into the fortress by the drawbridge because of the invisible force, even though I opened the drawbridge from the inside. I've always entered past the minotaur but now I burn up trying to go that way again.

Maybe I need to go back to the garden maze to find some valium.

the stuff in my sack:
2 carrots, rope, hook, branch, silver key, gold key, sword(that I got back again) shovel, scroll, hammer, nails, bow, arrow, fishing pole, club, ticket, winter coat, pass ring, float ring, sunstone, oil.

I know these things:
