I had already tried all my passwords a bunch of times, in many orders, coming from all directions. Then I figured it out! I had Tootle Cakes from another version, this version's character did not have it.
I had to look thru my notes for THAT version to see where I got the password, then go get it again.
The reason I started a new version was that my first version notes were a mess and not detailed enough. My second version notes and maps are 11 pages of teeny tiny writting.

Should I go on to Fantasy Quest 2? Bleh!
