>they call what I guess is technically a burrito a "soft taco".

1. A burrito is wrapped with both ends closed. A soft taco is folded in half with both ends opened.

2. A burrito most usually contains beans to some degree. A soft taco doesn't (that I've seen anyway.)

3. A burrito has that annoying space on both ends where all you get is a bite of folded tortilla. A soft taco gives you more with each bite, even if it *is* just lettuce and cheese.

4. You have to unfold a burrito to add hot sauce to the entire thing at once. A soft taco can have sauce applied immediately, with no hassles.

5. A burrito comes in a wrapper marked "Burrito." A soft taco comes in a wrapper marked "Soft Taco."

6. A burrito is seplled B-U-R-R-I-T-O. A soft taco is spelled S-O-F-T(space)T-A-C-O.

7. You can do that fun roll-your-tounge thing when saying "Burrrrrrrito." You can't do that with "Soft Taco."

It is the opinion of this "common tater" that a burrito and a soft taco are indeed exactly the same... except *completely* different.
