It took a long time before I was truly comfortable with my name. I was somewhat of a target for jokes until about 7th or 8th grade. Some kids actually used to try to provoke a fight with me over my name. It stopped as soon as I broke a guy's nose. Now, I'm not condoning violence as a means to solve disputes, but sometimes it's unavoidable. My philosophy was simple: If a fight is unavoidable, hit first and hit hard. (key word there is unavoidable)
