I drove one of those new Volkswagen Beetles the other day. It's a nice car. The driver sits so far back from the windshield, you need long arms to touch it. They put the engine in the wrong end, but it seems to work OK. Except for the shape, it has little in common with the old bug we are having restored. I suppose everything changes in 47 years.

I'm taking the Toyota in for some maintainence next week, and while I'm there, I think I'll look at a Prius. That's the new Toyota hybred that runs on electricity part time and gasoline part time.
