> OK, when I'm down in the dumps, so to speak [our dump isn't so bad], I usually pray. I know, it sounds like the typical Sunday-School packaged answer, but it works. I totally unload, talking about why I'm depressed [if I know] and anything I might tell to a therapist for a few zillion dollars an hour. I actually had a bit of a problem with depression [not clinical, I don't think, but I was headed there... if I didn't head somewhere else first] before I was saved.

hey, I don't know why I didn't think of that when I answered, prayer totally works for me, too... it's just so amazing how telling God what's wrong can help like soooo totally much.

There's always piano, but it just makes it worse if my fiddle was the cause [looong explanation]. So, if playing isn't an option, and I don't feel like singing, I'll curl up with some good music and maybe a book or a peice of writing, either outside with hot milk/chocolate/cider or in bed with a cold water bottle. Ther's no way I can't feel better like that.

I wish I played an instrument, it could be nice to be able to do that.... butmy brother, who's an awesome piano player, is often playing, and that always makes me feel better. Actually, I do kinda play an instrument, I just started handbells, but you can't take handbells home with you. So. But often when I'm in a not-so-great mood, I write some good poetry, and that always cheers me up. A lot of them are actually on my webpage.
