Diamond ring

Well, we did mean to post this last night, when we did the LJ posts and told everyone in chat, but we managed to forget. Sorry.

Anyway, yesterday (as I'm sure you all know) was famous' birthday, so I had a special birthday dinner planned at a posh restaurant. While we were waiting for dessert, I asked her to marry me, and SHE SAID YES! And everyone on all the neighbouring tables were about as excited as we were. Some Americans at the next table even bought us a bottle of champaigne, which was very nice of them. The first thing Amy did was to call all her family and tell them, as you might expect.

Well, that's about all the news, so far. No, we haven't set a date. Yes, you are all invited to the wedding.

YAY!
