"Photo Deluxe has a file access problem." The problem is that I can't find an index to error messages where it explains what those silly error messages mean.

I've been trying to put a "Easy Photo Slide Show" on my screen saver, but that ugly little grey block keeps popping up. I see it when I am processing pictures, but I just click it off and everything works OK, but it stops the slide show in it's tracks. I had a slide show working a couple of years ago. One day it dissappeared.

So I hit the "help" (AKA the "not much help") menu. Somewhere I stumbled across this little jewel:
"In the folder where you installed Photo Deluxe Business, delete the prefs folder." It also says that this will force Photo Deluxe to return to factory settings the next time I bring it up. Slim chance, but it might work IF I could find the folder where Photo Deluxe was installed (I didn't do it.)and IF I should somehow run across the "prefs folder," whatever that is.

Would that work?
Where can I find this stuff?
Does any body know a good psychiatrist?
