Admittedly, Coming To America is probably the weakest of the three, but browsing his filmography on the IMDb reveals even more titles than I remembered that I couldn't bring myself to see and wound up getting pretty abhorrent reviews. The guy's got talent, but it's not in picking scripts, that's for sure. Has *any* other actor with talent in the first place been in such a high number and percentage of duds? > > I agree that he can't pick a script to save his life, but you *liked* Coming to America? I haven't seen all of Murphy's films, but liked Beverly Hill Cop, Coming to America, and Trading Places. I thought each showed a different facet of his talent. BHC II was a dud, but not as bad as Daddy Day Care.
Now I'm going to go look up "excoriable." Howard
