What good would that do? I get the impression that you're somewhat insulated from the changes that have been going on in larger states. Friendly folk in other states were hoping for a "rescue"; NH supporters were hoping for reinforcements.
We ARE planning on being involved when we get there, certainly in politics in addition to society. Current discussion (with the people I'm in contact with) these last few days has been about looking for churches to get involved with and good areas in which to plant churches. Later it will probably shift to ways to foster a culture of freedom. Since we generally hold principled liberty to be a fundamental part of just human conduct and morality, we'd much rather make a difference than hunker down and hide from the world.
(Yes, there are plenty of agnostics, athiests, Wiccans, Jews, Muslims, Mormons, Amish, etc. also involved, and their ways of viewing freedom differ, though they come to same conclusion.)

I doubt anything will alleviate it except time and getting to know the people who become your neighbors.
Technically, NH gets this sort and size of influx every single year, especially from neighboring states. Just this time, it's a little more organized and a slightly different viewpoint.

Yeah. I'll admit that I'm not much of a fan of NH, but that much, at least, will change quickly. For non-Westerners in the group (a majority), it *has* been pretty much all-NH, all the time.
