Yes, I'm still around, though I don't post as often to the forum anymore...

Anyway, though, I figured I'd resurrect a thread from the old forum (see link below for the original) with a personal anecdote of which I was just reminded.

Frequently I'll have Instant Messenger running alongside a terminal window, as geeks frequently tend to do. Problem is that sometimes I get the two confused. More than once, I've tried to close an instant message window by typing "exit", leaving friends very confused, to say the least.

At least I wasn't running VIM at the time; ":wq" would've been *really* puzzling to whomever was on the other end...
