I don't think only Orthodox Presbyterians go to heaven. But that doesn't mean I think it's wise to marry someone of any school of thought simply because he's a Christian. Between "the essentials" and "how many angels can dance on the head of a pin" are several degrees of importance; depending on the nature of the relationship, even those vary. I used baptism as an example because it very directly affects how children are raised. Between two friends, it's not a big deal; it's food for debate. Between husband and wife, it could be a big problem. I don't care if I never agree with my fiance on the extremely fine points of doctrine, but I don't think that it's necessarily enough to agree on just the essentials. Does that make sense?
