You sure he was physically perfect? I always got the impression that Jesus wasn't necessarily a very attractive guy, but rather that people were drawn to him for what he had to say. But anyway, the 5th Element was meant to be a quirky little action/sci-fi movie, not one in which we got a bunch of philosophy (i.e. not Star Trek). I think that in the sort of flick 5E was, the amount of exposition they spent on Leeloo's perfection was adequate. Besides, I don't know that she was mentally "perfect" -- just physically so.
