I agree with that. If you don't like driving and you are not very good at it, and those Tulee (Or however you Californians spell it) fogs give you fits, why not get an apartment? Even a (gasp! choke!) dorm room would be easier and safer.

As for the problem of what to do with your life, I think you should plan for something you hate, because that will be the one thing you won't do. I started out in journalism, switched to English, and wound up in education. There is always the very real possibility that a new occupation will be invented before you get out of school, and you could end up doing that. Who would have thought a few years ago that millions of people would make their living with a computer?

One last word of advice: Don't eat in the cafeteria.
