In Reloaded, yes, although for some reason I liked that scene anyway, not tiring of it as I did with two other pseudo-philosophical soliloquys in the movie. But in the first movie, she was critical: if it hadn't been for what she told him, Neo wouldn't have done what was needed. It's too bad there wasn't something like that in this movie. But that scene still wasn't *entirely* useless, because we find out who/what the Oracle is, which was a question I had.

I was wondering that too. I can't figure that it's simply knowledge of a deterministic system, but who knows what the Wachowskis are trying to say about free will, so I suppose anything is possible.
