I was born on October 1, 1936, on a Thursday night, when the Dr. came to my house and delivered me under the light of a kerosene lamp. It would be ten years before we moved to a house in Knoxville, TN that had electricity.

Although I failed to graduate from high school, I seem to have turned out all right. I got my GED and took computer science in a small community college. My real love is music, and I have been the pianist at a Baptist church for 15 years. If you are into jazz music, I'd like to recommend a great new artist by the name of Peter Cincotti. He is nineteen years old, and his first CD is out on the Concord Records label. He's great!

Last Saturday, I went to my high school reunion - 48 years out of high school. I just had to see what all those old people looked like. Now that I'm retired, I enjoy lurking in RinkForum to read the many interesting posts, and thus learn a lot from the younger people who are very educated. I am one of the two old coots still on RinkForum.
