Business cards can be very useful little things,
here in America. Now, I don't know how things
are done out there in Colorado, but around
here, many if not most of the local eateries
have ongoing monthly or weekly contests to
win free lunches, and the only way to enter is
with your business card. Said eateries will
have a shoebox with a slot in it, or a large fish
bowl, or some other marked container sitting
out on the counter, and you put your business
card in it when you go there for lunch. They
draw a card out every week or month and that
person gets a free lunch. Every time I see one
of these business card contest receptacles, I
bemoan the fact that one apparently has to be
at manager level or above to merit having
one's own business cards printed at my
company.
