I never used business cards until I retired. Then I had some printed with a picture of a vintage motor scooter in the middle plus my contact information. I passed them out at scooter meets and stuck them in packages of stuff I sold on ebay. (I wonder if that is how Leen uses them. She mentioned "shows.")

The problem is that after I had 1000 printed, my area code changed. I scratched that out and put in the new area code for a while, but when they changed my zip code, the name of my street, and my mailbox number, it became too much trouble. So I had new one's done and included my website address. But the website never worked very well and when they tripled the price I axed it and again my cards were out of date. I may get some new ones soon. Maybe I'll just put that scooter pic on there and leave everything else blank.

Cards are very handy in a hobby, because communicating with other collectors is so important. But I never won a free meal with them.
