> 8. Cruising. Always an adventure, cruising is an easy way to travel. And you can include the trip to and from the cruise terminal as part of the adventure. You get to visit foreign countries with a minimum of planning.

> 9. Collecting. Collections lead to adventure. I can read a lot of history from my coin collection. Collecting vintage scooters leads me to remote places where I prowl through old barns and sheds. I meet interesting people while attending meets with other collectors. A spinoff of collecting is photography, which can be an adventure in itself.

Wow. What a great list. I've done a few of the things on here, and I think that without a doubt, you've hit a lot of the big highlights.
