So nobody replies because they don't want to write such a short post, and the person may feel that their post wasn't good because it didn't get any replies.
I posted something a while ago about the nature of time and perspective and such. I thought it was very interesting and well thought-out, and I couldn't wait to see what other people had to say about it. I got no responses outside of "hey, that reminds me of this book I read once" and the ensuing conversation about how to find a copy of that book. In short: so it goes. It is not the responsibility of the people who read my post to make sure I think it was good, and it's not the responsibility of people already involved in the community to make sure everyone who comes along feels appreciated.
