I don't think using my real name is boring. For a while I did use the alias of Ayako, but my friendships in the community here grew so real to me that it just didn't feel right anymore. I like to roleplay and pretend I'm someone else, and using Ayako was almost like that for me. But there is a certain beauty in being who you really are, too.

I'm not claiming here that because you use an alias, you don't put your real personality behind it. I'm only explaining what it meant for me personally.
