I see you are quite neatly dodging the issue of my SUGAR FREE GUM. Does that have any non non-food components?? It clearly has "flavor" or I wouldn't chew it. But what the heck is "flavor"??

Anyway, the sugar is not the gum. It just happens to be hanging around inside the gum somewhere. And it falls out when you chew it. Like if you built a lego fort around a ham sandwich. The HAM SANDWICH is the food, not the lego fort--even if you chew on the legos to get to the ham sandwich.
