I say deport them to their home city, and wait to inflict the punishment (whatever that is) until around the time that whatever-that-sport's-big-game-is rolls around again. A fine? Makes it less likely that they'll be able to buy a ticket. Incarceration? Give the person a cell without tv or radio access, and make sure they don't bring any in. Or keep the only tv on something really boring. Maybe they'll grow a brain and not inflict property damage when they find out they can't get to the game, and might not even be able to see it.

Just be glad there aren't actual government-sponsored bloodsports around, like in the days of ancient Rome.
