I've been having this problem affect me the past few weeks. Usually, I just click away the stupid pop-ups and think nothing more of them. However, I've been on Battle.net lately playing Warcraft III against other people online, and every so often, a pop-up randomly appears even though I don't have a browser open. It minimizes the Warcraft III window and shows me the pop-up, which I then have to close before I can reopen the game. The worst part is, 2 of every 3 times, when I return to the game, my main hero character has been killed off (or is close to dying) by one of my opponents. It's quite a frustrating experience.
