Sometimes they are a pain, like in France, where it happens a lot that, on a normal straight road in the middle of nowhere, they put a roundabout, WITHOUT any other streets connected to it, just the straight road!

What I thought was odd was when in Germany, traffic in the circle had right-of-way while in England, traffic entering the circle had right-of-way (or vice versa). In Italy, like in New Jersey, it's every man for himself. Women, too.
