The point is for dad's around the world, or wherever it's recieved, to be able to turn it on and annoy thier children with it. This is the case with my dad and some of my friends dads too. I don't understand why he has to watch it for hours at a time, but he does...and let me tell you, that music NEVER gets tollerable.
