Good question, it's easier and faster to just look out the window :)

I listen on the local news at 6 to see the forecast. Local weather is given in more detail than The Weather Channel anyway. But if it's still a problem, you can check current meteorology on the Internet at
http://www.weather.com/homepage.html

It's a little annoying, though, since it gives all the Canadian temperatures in degrees Fahrenheit rather than Celsius.
