Um, isn't it south of the trees where you found the arrow? You know, with the rope bridge that's fallen down? You appear to have found the cave, and the chasm's not far from there at all. Haven't played FQ1 in a while, but I know the chasm's not too hard to find. (Not compared to SOME things in the game, that's for sure.)

Where are you right now? The cave? The ocean? By the Indian? By the trees?

I suspect you're gonna HATE the royal gardens...
