I liked Labyrinth, but it definitely has its quirks and quibbles. The girl (whose name I don't recall), while not exactly a *bad* actress, doesn't seem to be able to show much depth of character. The Escher-set was much to cool for the forty seconds or so it was used - it should have been a more prominent feature. David Bowie's pants were a little too tight (just a little).

Interestingly, David Bowie's presence in the movie has altered the pricing in such a way that the soundtrack costs more than the actual film. Which is odd, considering that Bowie performs, I think, three songs in the entire film (maybe four), and the rest of the soundtrack is just static filler.
