Well, I knew you had Germanic overtones but didn't realize Flemish was French-German-Dutch. Learn something new everyday :)

Anyway I know this is wrong, but given that I thought you were German, I was pronouncing your name this way:

Yom-MAY-kuh, with the "kuh" sound very short.

Oui, y'a au moins une autre personne ici qui parle français. Ben oui, mon gars. Et bien, je pense que Sam parle et lire un peu lui-même.

I have a question: How do you pronounce the name "Rien Poortvliet" in Flemish? I keep trying to do it in French because "rien" means "nothing" to me, so that doesn't work.
