First off, thanks to everybody who replied to my post for your comments, I'm feeling much better now and I'm thinking about this much more clearly.

No, this friend has *never* said anything along the lines of 'I'm a fantastic artist and I'm great', it's more like 'I love doing what I do'. Which was slightly more annoying, since they're all happy with their art and I was feeling a bit depressed.

I'd rather not give you this person's URL because I don't really want anybody to know who this person is, and I definitely don't want this person to know I was feeling this way about them.
