Like every other stage in life, retirement is only what you make it. Start planning while you are still young. It is so sad to see people my age, and even younger, living on a single puny social security check that makes them choose between food and medicine. Also sad is the person who has the means to enjoy retirement, but they just sit down and wait to die. I have so many interests, I can't keep up with them all. I'd rather run myself to death than die of inactivity.
Well, I'm off to Hooters for lunch.
