Hmm. Back when I was in high school, I had a summer reading assignment. The book I chose to read was Hemingway's "For Whom the Bell Tolls." I went to the public library to find it and, to my surprise, the library did not have a single copy. And I don't mean they were out - there were none to be out. They had a jillion copies of Hemingway's other stuff, but not "For Whom the Bell Tolls." And, for crying out loud, it was the major work of his career! Ack!
