Hehee... two points! That was good. :-}

After listening to lyrics in Gaelic for a few hours from across the room on the other computer, Dad gets a bit annoyed, but I don't think he wants to risk telling me to shut it off for fear I'll branch into those things I don't even call music [heavy metal, rap, hard rock, most pop, etc.]

Sorry I had to truncate in my quoting, dear - I did read (and appreciate) the entirety of what you said, I just didn't think it would be wise to repeat the whole thing. Anyhoo...

I listen to all kinds of music, with the exception of anything that is, nowadays, considered to be "heavy" (read: rap, industrial, grunge, Manson, etc.) and disco (I *despise* disco). I also don't go for the latest pop smashes (the Backstreet Boys, N' Sync, Matchbox 20...)

My favourites fall into three groups: classic rock, rock ballads, and classical stuff. I am a big fan of (in particular) Chicago, Elvis, Sister Hazel, and Poison.
