My family's first "computer" was PONG. I barely
remember it. Then we got an Atari 2600. After
that it was a Commodore 64, although it was
considered "mine" and not "the family's." I
finally moved into the PC age in '95 with my
old Packard Bell 486.

internet and found rinkworks. If someone
could point me in the direction of the RA
(Rinkworks Anonymous) meetings, I would
appreciate it. My husband doesn't understand
my affection for these games but I think fishing
in the pouring down rain is a little daffy. Takes
all kinds...

You could try out the RinkChat. I'd suggest
reading some of the archives first. That's how I
did it... you can sort of ease yourself into it. Of
course, for most people, the chat room only
makes their addiction stronger...

> Anyway, a little about myself: I am head CAD
designer of the transportation division of a civil
engineering firm (I draw roads on a
computer). In addition to computer games, I
enjoy skiing, kayaking, reading, painting,
crocheting, camping and movies.

Me, I'm a graphic designer in the advertising
department of a midwestern department store
chain. I enjoy computer games, I've never
been skiing or kayaking in my life (although I
went whitewater rafting on my senior trip in
high school and really enjoyed it), I read like
crazy, I used to paint but honestly have never
been very good at it; I would have no clue what
to do with a crochet hook, but I like camping
and movies. I also have a keychain collection
that currently contains over 260 and continues
to grow every Christmas and everytime I go on
a trip.

here and I'm currently working my way through
Murkon. I have loved them all and can't wait for
the next one(s)!! Although I think my boss
would rather the website self-destructed. :)

I have beaten Fantasy Quest, Brackley Hall
and Game of the Ages. I'm still stuck in Perils
of Akumos, and I've never even tried Trail of
Anguish. Currently working on my second
game of Murkon's.
