Hello, all.

The first computer my family had was a Texas Instrument that plugged into the television with the cartridges and plug-in for a tape deck. One of the few games we had was the Pirate Adventure. My whole family (8 of us) spent weeks solving that one and we all loved it. After that came the Atari and progressively better graphical games but I never forgot how much fun that old text-based adventure game was.

A few years ago, I did a search on the internet and found rinkworks. If someone could point me in the direction of the RA (Rinkworks Anonymous) meetings, I would appreciate it. My husband doesn't understand my affection for these games but I think fishing in the pouring down rain is a little daffy. Takes all kinds...

Anyway, a little about myself: I am head CAD designer of the transportation division of a civil engineering firm (I draw roads on a computer). In addition to computer games, I enjoy skiing, kayaking, reading, painting, crocheting, camping and movies.

I have beaten all of the adventure games on here and I'm currently working my way through Murkon. I have loved them all and can't wait for the next one(s)!! Although I think my boss would rather the website self-destructed. :)

Well, I better get some work done, then back to Murkon!!
