This is one of the movies I've been looking forward to the most, actually. The author of the novel, Nick Hornby, also wrote "High Fidelity" which was a book I loved and which became a movie I loved even more. For my money, "High Fidelity" is one of the best romantic comedies in the last decade.

I haven't read "About a Boy" (it's on my to-read list) but I'm very enthusiastic about the movie. Despite the fact that I should hate him, Hugh Grant is totally cool and Ebert's enthusiastic 3 1/2 star review of "About a Boy" has me all excited.
