Yes--I know just what you mean. It has taken an effort on my part, too, to remind myself: "Self, remember that Chris is female." And so forth. It's possible that elsewhere on the 'Net, it wouldn't seem terribly important to keep straight the genders of people who post. But we've got such a great group of regulars in this place that I want to try and remember what people have said about themselves, at least in the essentials.

And no, I don't know (but have wondered) what ever became of Diane. I pondered briefly what Diane's response might be to the thread that came up a few weeks ago when someone (Byron?) asked what age/gender the regulars here were. Still not sure how that would go.
