I'm suprised no one else puts peanut butter on *both* slices of bread with the jelly in the middle. If you're making the sandwich to put in a lunch for later, that's the only way to prevent some of the gooier jellies from soaking through the bread and making it all soggy. I don't really pack lunches for myself anymore; I either buy my lunches or keep the fixings in a nearby mini fridge so I can make them right before I eat 'em, but I still spread PB on both sides, I guess mainly out of habit.
