So I looked through my collection of motorscooters and there it was. A nice little two-wheeler, yellow in color with a Kiwi bird decaled on the leg shield. The Zespri is actually a variation of the Italian Vespa, but made on Capri. It has a two-cycle engine that is not legal in the USA because it won't produce enough pollution to compete with diesel trucks. Someone smuggled it in by calling it a Zespa. The reason I never noticed it before is that it was between a Cushman RoadKing and a Vespa Rally, both much larger scooters. Have I ever lied to you? Howard
