Marketing says: "Yeah, cool, right-on, dude."
(Pause for five seconds for marketing to watch movie)
Marketing says: "We can use this and that, and that to make spoilers".

Are you saying that you aren't trying to seperate marketing hype et al. from what movie-watching should (don't you think?) be all about, namely movie-watching? As I see it, one of the most major challenges of being a human being these days is to cut through the crap. Come to think of it, probably always has.
