To answer, I'll just quote my original post: "mazes are the bane of my existence, but even simple locations, movements, and directions are hard for me." So, yeah. Mostly it's the maze-like areas, but even so, I do remember that being my biggest problem even in GOAT. I haven't played in a while, though - if I had the time I'd start playing again to see if it really was the largest factor in my difficulties.
