I went to one, in 9th grade. It was stupid and a waste of....whatever it cost. $8 I think it was. Oh, and I went to the end-of-8th-grade dance that they had because, ironically enough, everyone else was going. But trust me, you're not missing much.

But everyone *else* would expect you to expect that. It's seems as if it's just one great big "See Who Can Spend The Most Money" Fest.
